Working on behalf of a biomass energy company we were tasked with acquiring and delivering sites with planning permission to build straw pellet production plants, of an unprecedented scale in the UK. The work involved gathering a team of specialists from around Europe to develop an optimal design to deliver the required outputs via a rail-freight interchange.

The first site located in Ely, Cambs. successfully achieved planning permission.
