Otley College
The Otley Campus received local Education Authority funding to improve their facilities. Building Partnerships was appointed to assist the College in designing and delivering the improvements without impacting on the educational curriculum.
The role involved leading the design team and providing technical expertise into the process along with the ability to manage a multi-faceted team to produce a scheme which satisfied the college’s specific needs.
The scheme including a new construction workshop, barn provision and conversion of a food unit into animal welfare space obtained full planning permission in 2013.
Continued management of the team through the construction phase was undertaken along with financial management to ensure the scheme met both financial and time requirements.
The new and upgraded facilities were completed on time and within budget and are now being used by the college.
