London Road Ipswich
A 10 hectare (25 acre) site adjacent to the A12/A14 junction on the south west fringe of Ipswich. Building Partnerships worked with Taylor Wimpey to develop the site to include mixed use employment and residential space with suitable access to the highway network.
Planning approval for the site including additional land was granted at committee in February 2016. Development commenced in 2019 on the residential land which will eventually see circa 475 homes, a school and green space.
The employment land which extends to circa 12 acres has consent for a mix of leisure uses, including cinema, restaurants, bars and drive-thrus.
Building Partnerships are in discussions to progress the commercial site that will see a planning application for employment uses submitted in 2022.
